Such a wonderful and historic place! The real 'Pike Creek' starts here, and knowing the Indians lived here is really something. The summer concert series is a must-just wish there were a few more of them.

Whether alone or with a group, this is a beautiful place to take a walk. Serene and scenic. You feel isolated even though you are close to the city. It's a shame I don't go there more often.

Our family loves going to Hawthorne Hollow. We've been to several of their nature programs, including maple surgering, birding, etc. Friendly staff. Well-maintained, beautiful nature center.

I plan to return later in the Spring. My first visit but I was very impressed. Lovely trails and saw and heard birds chirping. No charge to go in, they have a donation box that they suggest $1 for each person
