The staff was great, but I was expecting to see more wildlife - birds or something. The guide was very informative and interesting to listen to. They say the marsh is always changing - as far as what birds or other wildlife you may see, so perhaps we picked a bad day (late Sept.). We've seen so much more wildlife kayaking on rivers around the state. I think if you hit this boat tour at the right time, it could be very worthwhile though. If I ever go back I will call ahead to check the status of the current bird population.

Owning a tour company, I took a group of adults on a guided tour of this marsh and included video, we enjoyed this tour and its background and significance it has to our ecosystem. Good tour for all ages.

Fantastic scenery and the chance to see a lot of wildlife up close! The captain is full of interesting facts and information about the marsh and it’s animals and plants.

Had a wonderful trip. The tour guide was very knowledgeable on the area and the birds. We were very impressed with the variety of birds and wildlife we were fortunate enough to see. I would take this tour again.

We did the sightseeing tour and loved it. Thought it was a great way to see the marsh. The guide was genuinely passionate about the marsh and had an intimate knowledge of its workings. Fascinating to learn about how and why the pair of eagles are flourishing in Horicon Marsh

An enjoyable time in a unique natural environment. Our guide was very knowledgeable and his presentation was well done. There are several ways to enjoy the marsh--by boat, car, canoe, hiking and biking. Every visit brings a new experience. I look forward to coming back in the fall.

Couldn't have asked for more. Knowledgeable tour guide. Small group of avid birders out for a two hour tour that didn't disappoint. 40 species tracked. Numerous opportunities for photography. Would do it again and again throughout the year.

We did this for Mother's Day.
We saw over 30+ different species.
We saw an Eagle Nest with three Eaglets and two parents.
I felt like it was a nice pace, our Captain did a great job pointing all the birds out.

I wasnt sure how this would be, But are boat guide was very knowledgable and informative. we seen over 50 birds.
It was a great night on the lake despite the chilly breeze. Hey rain held off.
We seen eagles and a nest, pelicans, beavers ,muskrats and even a racoon swimming in the water a first for us and the boat driver. Would do this again on next visit to marsh.

is this an option for handicap? wheelchair to the boat or within 5 yards then in and out access easy? or standard boat tied to a dock with movement while trying to get in and out?
