The tour was very informative and the displays were amazing. Plenty of bones and fossils on display and all the background info to each display was provided. Really enjoyable and a very well done exhibit and tour. Recommend.

This was a fantastically good experience. in Quilpie we made a 100km detour in the opposite direction to where we were actually heading, and it was 100% worth it. The tour, information and displays were first class, and the actual building was architecturally stunning. I appreciate this because of my architectural background. We will definitely come again.

Eromanga, the town furthest from the sea, is home to the Eromanga Natural Museum. While only a new addition to this tiny town it is a world class research facility dedicated to dinosaurs who roamed the area eons ago. The tour guide was so knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. The café and shop and reception area were welcoming and the range of items in the shop ranging from toy dinosaurs for little ones to opals for keepsakes and a good range of books. The biggest problem, surprising at a new facility, was the car parking especially for disabled. There wasn't any designated and certainly not close to the entrance. My husband has severe asthma and experienced distress returning to our car.

Thank you for your fantastic review We're so pleased you enjoyed your visit to the museum and sorry to hear that your husband experienced distress on your departure. We apologise for the current distance from the carpark to the facility. It is intended that with our (hopefully near) future growth the carpark will be much closer to the buildings. We have also implemented signage that gives a clearer designation to a disability parking area and will investigate if there's room to make it even closer. We hope to see you back again in the future. Kind regards, ENHM

What a delight. Whilst quite remote this museum is a must visit on any trip to south western Queensland. The introductory video presentation is both novel and highly informative. The visit to the work area was accompanied by very clear and concise exploration by the guide. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The on-site cafe finishes off a great experience.

We were the only ones on the tour which made it very special. We had Denise and her enthusiasm & expertise all to ourselves and were duly impressed with the work that is going on behind the scenes and the balance in the tour of film and actual examples. We got to chat with 2 volunteers at work scraping away. Not sure there's enough here for kids but nevertheless a special place. (You can take the kids to explore the great sculptures in Eromanga). Most of us have seen dinosaur skeletons in the museums of large cities but to visit a place devoted to them is awesome & all of the members of staff we connected with were super friendly and warm. We also stayed at Coopers Lodge accommodation and have written a review. We had done a lot of driving and felt that a stay here, although expensive would break our journey.

Walked back through time with the aid of some informative videos, presentations and getting up close to fossils millions of years old. This place is awesome, the tour is really good and sounds as though it is only going to get better. Been wanting to do it for a while so it was fantastic to finally get here. Well worth the drive.

We had already been to Winton, Queensland, to see the Age of Dinosaurs and Lark Quarry, and enjoyed them both, but this museum is different again. The tour goes for 1 hour and after a short film introduction you go over to the museum. Here, you get to see the many different fossil bones up very close, as compared to the Age of Dinosaurs, and the commentary is interesting. Would definitely recommend going for the drive if you are in the area.
