I brought my son to ride go karts, play lazer tag, and games. We had a great time! There was a package where you got unlimited lazer tag and 1 go kart ride for $22 a person. It was my first time playing lazer tag so I can't really compare, but my son said it was bigger than the one in the trampoline park. I thought it was a nice, big area, with an upstairs and downstairs. They only had 1 double go kart working and it had to charge between rides, but we made it work. A lot of the games were not working, but there was enough to play. 3 out of 4 ski ball machines were broke. I would go back, but also may check out a new lazer tag place next time.

Well I purchased unlimited go cart and laser tag for my kids. And I bought 1 go kart race for me. And as we waited for our race to come up my kids went and played lazertag. So all we did was wait. I tried a couple of the arcade games they were fun but kid based obviously. Then after our race which was awesome, my kids played more laser tag. So there wasn't much for me to do. But my kids had a blast.

I took my grandson to this place on Dec 31, 2014. This is not very large racetrack, built inside an old garden center. I paid $25 for unlimited racing and lazertag, thinking my grandson would be easily occupied for an hour or 2. Nothing could be further from the truth. After racing one race he had to sit out several races due to other patrons. They only fielded 6 out of 12 cars available. When he went to go to lazertag, the door was locked and they did not have enough staff to allow him to begin. Apparently you are supposed to fill your dead time stuffing the Chucky cheese type games with additional money. Lastly, after we had been their over an hour, a driver rammed the track railing, being made of plastic, and tore it up. The entire track was down while they repaired the railing. We spent 1 hour and 45 minutes there, with grandson having a total of 15 minutes racing and 10 minutes in lazertag. They state up front that a race is 10 minutes, 5 minutes buckling up and 5 minutes racing. This place is a Wisconsin Dell style ripoff. When I complained, the arrogant porcine owner wished me a happy new year. Avoid this place like the plague.

Unlike Yelp!, Trip Advisor has not removed this review for its inaccurate and damaging nature. To accuse the City of Greenfield and our business of committing fraud is completely false. The customer purchased our "unlimited" wristband for $25 + tax and chose to participate in 3 go-kart races and 1 laser tag game. If purchased individually this comes to $33.50 + tax. When he came up to the counter to ask for a refund, I explained that he had actually saved $8.50 + tax by purchasing the "unlimited" wristband. That's when he became agitated and threatened to damage our business. He chose to leave after an hour and forty-five minutes. The "unlimited" wristband lasts the entire day. He came in on New Year's Day, our hours were from 12:00pm - 6:00pm, so in reality he stayed less than a third of his available "unlimited" time. Nothing we did was fraudulent. When Yelp! looked into his accusations and when his own credit card company looked into his accusations, they sided with Lightspeed. It's unfortunate that TripAdvisor does not react the same way that other review sites have.

This was our first time at Light Speed and our last. There was a disturbance between 2 young people and the management did not handle the situation well at all, allowing the aggressor to leave and re-enter the building 3 more times showing no regard for the safety of the children and families in the building. A customer ended up being the one to call authorities. Very sad. Our kids need places like this, but they need to be managed much better. Perhaps a security guard would help.

We brought my son & his 3 friends (and my 5 year-old younger son) for his 11th birthday party. What a blast! The staff was great to work with. One of the kids was a bit short to ride go-karts solo, but the staff suggested a booster & it worked well. We otherwise would have had a VERY disappointed kid. The electric go-karts were smooth & quiet, and don't have the gasoline odor of traditional karts. Laser tag area was spacious & fun. Game duration was perfect. The staff went out of their way to make sure the kids were having fun. My 5 year-old had gotten about 50 tickets playing games, but the owner let him pick out a 100-ticket prize, which was a nice gesture. The venue was clean & attractive. We'll definitely be back!

It's sort of a tradition that when I get together with my nephew & grand-nephew we have some go-kart racing contests. I used to do this at the Dells or other venues. I was searching for a place in the Kenosha area this past spring (too cold for outdoor karting). I came across this venue and gave it a try.

It was a lot of fun, three hours worth - then we left for a quick meal & came back to closed the place. We did both the laser tag and racing... where else can one go to get 5 hours of fun for $25.00?

Be sure to park on Lightspeeds lot, not the next door fast food joint or car dealer.

What more can we ask for?! Laser tag, go-karting, and ESCAPE ROOMS! I can really see how the owner Jeff puts in a lot of time and effort into this business! We will definitely be back!

First off we had a large group and spent 200 dollars for just walking in for our kids birthday. There were 2 people at the desk, the guy was very happy go lucky, but the female was very rude n didnt seem like she cared. While going into laser tag part first, they tore off 2 laser tags on one paper, which each person had their own paper. Why did they do this? Not done properly. Next went onto go carts awesome had a great time, but the guy said I didnt take ur paper, ummm yes u did. So almost got ripped off of one person's ride. Grrrr. Then back to laser tag we go, so we wanted to play just with our big group, but the lady insisted the group in their wanted to play against us. Okay, I guess we had too, but it's way to small in there for 2 big groups of 2 different teams. It was a little pricey for the small and short time we played. Next time, I'll go to our normal place, which has 3 different upstairs areas n bigger for big groups like us. It was still fun, but needs to be a little more organized.

Thanks so much for coming in and having some fun with us this past Saturday. We appreciate the business and also your feedback. I’m so sorry to hear that your group had just an “ok” time. I’ll definitely have a talk with the team on some of the attitudes that it’s sounds like they had. That’s certainly not what I enjoy hearing. It sounds like there were also a few procedures that you also didn’t understand, I wish you would have given a couple suggestions on how we could improve in those areas. We’ve been open nearly 7 years, so sometimes we may get stuck in our ways and don’t see the obvious as easily as someone with fresh eyes. One thing that I would definitely suggest for you would be to book one of our birthday party packages if you’re coming in to celebrate a birthday with us. You would notice a HUGE difference in the “bang for the buck” value. Thanks again for having some fun with us. I’ll definitely address the issues that you touched on.

My family and I have been to Lightspeed several times. My daughter Jade just had her 12th birthday party there. We also had her birthday there last year. She loved it both times!

This year a new option was added to have the party host take pictures throughout the party for a small additional fee. I love this feature as a parent because it allowed me to relax and enjoy the party (and not have to corral the kids myself for pictures) rather than worry about pictures. Shots were taken during go-kart racing and laser tag by our party host Shannon that I never would have been able to get myself. They came out beautifully.

We are definitely repeat customers. :)

Thanks so much for celebrating Jade's birthday at Ligtspeed again this year! We loved seeing you back for more fun! I also want to thank you for the kind words. We love hearing feedback on how we're doing. I'm thrilled to hear that Shannon did such a great job as the party host. There is a reason he gets requested as often as he does! Have a great Summer! We hope to see you soon!
