Is a small museum, so easily done in an hour. Lots of detailed displays. Good for history buffs. Very pretty landscaped locale. Nice 9/11 memorial.

We went the day before the 4th of July. The special attractions where Life and Death at Fort Howard and an Ice Age Exhibit with Saber Tooth Cats and Mastodons. It was very well done and informative. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The regular attractions are well laid out and informative including a lot of old video footage... More

I love going to the museum. There is such a variety of things to see and do. Extremely kid friendly - a super hands-on area for children. The gift shop has many unique gifts.

My kids & I LOVED this place. We had a lot to see while there. It was interesting to learn about the history of the military, see outfits used from long ago, get some Packers History, various movies throughout the museum, see Ice Age display which is here for a short while this summer. We eventually went to the gift... More

Great local resource provides technology interaction as well as games for others. Lots of updated exhibits and good archeaological displays. Give you perspective on what things were like especially in the period following the War of 1812 right up to the 1850s.

The people and the attractions at this museum were excellent. It's not overly big but everything we saw was very well done. It is very obvious that a lot of love and time and planning went into every aspect of every display. We had a wonderful time. And as a bonus there was a beautiful display of art done by... More

I have been to the museum a million times growing up and I always find something interesting. There is a discovery room down the hall from the rest of the museum that I never known about. Supposed to be for kids, but we had fun too!!

Amazing! So many things that you really didn't know about Green Bay - or Wisconsin. Exhibits featured Civil and Revolutionary wars, ancient artifacts, local antiquities, photos, interactive movies/photos... so much to see and learn. Definitely not a stuffy, old boring museum! There is even a GB Packers exhibit with movie! Trust me - there is something for everyone here!

Growing up in Green Bay back in the '40's & '50's, I remember the old museum as dusty, smelly, and clunky. This was my first trip back since leaving Wisconsin in 1977. What a pleasant experience. The new facility resembles nothing like what you would expect for a museum, it is easy to guide yourself though, and the layout takes... More

Kids of all ages and adults will enjoy Neville. The dinosaur display and those that depict the original Native Americans in the area are excellent.
