We loved coming here. There is something for everyone to try. You don't have to be a great artist to try your hand at painting pottery, mosaics, glass blowing even welding! The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you or your child is painting some pottery, they will glaze and fire it during your visit and have it ready... More

I visited the art studio when it was raining outside and there wasn't much to do. My friend and I painted ceramics. It was a nice activity to relax and have something to bring home. The prices seemed a bit high, it is better to make more stuff at once, because you pay a fixed price for entering and then... More

My husband and I had fun in the glass studio putting together a plate. We originally wanted to do a bowl, but we didn't leave enough days (we thought it required one day, but it needed 2, in order to slump the plate into a bowl). They had two friendly people to help, and lots of materials. We also stopped... More

We have been going to Hands On Art since 2007, when our kids were 1, 4, and 7. They are now 10, 14, and 16 and we had an incredible time. We evolved from painting ceramics to fused glass and canvass projects. Can't wait to see what our next visit brings.

I really wanted to like this place. The setting and facilities are great. The service provided is not. At the outset, I was a little surprised you pay a per person fee in addition to project costs. This is not a deal breaker, but considering you are paying twice to use the space, I strongly feel the service should be... More

I spent the entire day at the art studio. I did some welding with the help of the very nice instructor. Ate lunch, then off to try painting. I have never tried this before and again, the instructor helped me enough to get me going. I have been here before and think it is the perfect place to try new... More

Our family loves all the different types of art we can create together at Hands On Art: painting pottery, spin art, guided canvas painting, glass art. We love the memories we create both during the art creation and the physical memories we can take home. The horses, goats, pigs, chickens and rooster are fun to say hi to as we... More

You could spend an entire day here! Separate buildings for all kinds of art. Glass, paint, metal working and more! How many places do you know of that let you play with welding tools! ? You pay a $7 fee to just get in and then each project has it's own price. You can do cheaper projects for $15 or... More

We came for the first time in August and had a wonderful time. My two children, 5 and 3 also enjoyed it. We decided on the mosaic designs and had fun making those. The two workers there, like I mentioned, were not friendly and acted like we were a burden. They were more interested in their own conversations vs. us... More

We took our grandchildren here because they wanted to do some ceramic painting. the person in charge of the ceramics was terrific, helping them pick out their projects and helping them pick out their paints and helping them pick out their colors. It's a pretty amazing place with something for everyone, young and old. there is ceramics, metalwork, painting and... More
