Even in the winter there's a lot to do, from hiking, snowshoeing, to fat tire biking, cross country skiing, a great park to visit year round

We rented snow shoes in Fish Creek and spent a few hours on the fairly well marked trails. There wasn't a paper map available at our entrance (Eagle Tower), but there were a few guide maps on the trails. Easy parking and easy to navigate...More

Wisconsin's parks are beautiful and this one in Door County is especially easy to get to and enjoy. I've never camped there, but go often to hike, visit the lighthouse and even in winter have just driven through when I had a little extra time....More

Came here in winter, hoping for a sunset. The possibilities are there - clouds rolled in and foiled that plan. Nice quiet hike along sunset path. Eagle Point had great views of the islands. Have heard Eagle path is great, but strenuous in summer w...More

I enjoyed Peninsula State Park three times this year; May, August, and October; while hiking, biking, and driving through. It was beautiful to see changes of nature and to happen across foraging deer.

Beautiful park. You can jog, walk, hike or ride through the park. I drove through near sunset so the skies were gorgeous.

My friend and I had some time to kill before visiting Green Bay for a Packers game, so we took a short drive through Door County. This was the highlight for me. Beautiful views through the fall foliage and over the waters of Green Bay...More

I agree with the above, although we have not camped there in many years. We camped many years ago and most sites were very spacious. We mostly use the bike trails now.
