I have seen a lot of shows at Alpine, and each time has been excellent. I've had good experiences in both the lawn seats or down in the seats. The tailgating in the lot before the show is a must! I once had an asthma attack while I was there and the medical tent was great. I'd definitely recommend you... More

For over twenty years, we have made our yearly trek out to Alpine Valley for the Jimmy Buffett concert. We always tailgate with family and friends and have a good time. They have enough staff to make sure you have a good experience.

Jimmy Buffet at Alpine has been on our bucket list, travelled with 2 other couples by plane from ND to attend and rented a vehicle. Best set up for tailgating! We purchased the premier parking pass for $30, worth it. Arrived at around 2:30, though the lot open earlier. Parking staff was excellent at directing us in and out of... More

We've attended outdoor amphitheater events in Atlanta, Charlotte, and St Augustine and Alpine Valley is the biggest and the best. Holds nearly 38,000 people. First off, this place is huge. Tons of parking. Tons of concessions. And most importantly, tons of restrooms. Venue is old but in great shape. Tons of event staff everywhere to keep the place clean and... More

I love attending concerts at outdoor venues during the summer. We've been to the one in Indy and St. Louis a couple of times. Alpine Valley was definitely better for a few reasons. 1. Getting in and out was super smooth. In fact, I was shocked at how quickly we were able to leave after the concert. 2. I also... More

I've been to Buffett concerts at Alpine Valley 7-8 years in a row. Love this venue! The lawn seats are fun just to have a dance party in the grass with you and 35,000 of your friends 😀 The venue is out in a field basically and is great spot for the tailgating before Buffett.

Been going here for years and have a great time. This was the first year security was over the top but I get the Milwaukee riots just took place. The sound is great and the concessions are good. Restrooms were clean. Wear appropriate shoes because the hill is steep.

My first show at Alpine was with a group of friends when we were in high school in 1996. It was a show I will never forget and has kept me coming back year after year. Stopping in Lake Geneva on the way, setting up our party in the lots, throwing the Frisbee around, walking down the lawn. Ahhh I... More

I have seen many shows and skied Alpine many times during high school/college. It is a beautiful place to visit (if you live in the flatlands). This trip to see Dead and Co. was my first visit since 1989. I found it interesting that not much had changed in my mind. If anything, I thought the police presence on local... More
