They renovated the park this year and the new playground equipment is so interesting and fun that parents can be found playing alongside their kids on the jungle gyms. Big trees, lots of picnic spots, access to the bike trails, and the well-attended ball fields...More

Carson Park sits like an island, surrounded on 3 sides by the calm waters of Half Moon Lake. With Cathedral-like tall pines, and a road that meanders around and through the woodland park, leading to the Chippewa Valley Museum, Paul Bunyan and the Lumber Museum,...More

Attended the Walk Out of Darkness event. The park is very well cared for. Bathrooms are clean. Very large play structure available for children. Nice walking paths with other activities available. This would be a great spot for a break to a busy day.

The ball park is historical. You can take in a baseball game in a quaint stadium or a football game with great seating. If you like local history, Paul Bunyon Park is excellent.

The playground equipment was recently replaced and they turned it into a really incredible park. There are play pieces for all ages and even some that are handicap accessible.

Steps away from the bikepath near the Mayo Clinic is Carson Park. There's a small lake full of bass and panfish. There's a mini-beach. There are many places to post up a picnic and swat mosquitos while luring close the local wildlife.

We visited this park two years ago and thought it was loads of fun; however, the new equipment added makes this park more fun than ever.

Took the kids to play on the new playground and I don't know who had more fun the kids or the teenagers. Something for everyone there.
