Lots of strolling potential - marsh, pond, wooded, and all accessible by car, bike or foot. A lovely baseball/football venue. A local museum (with a genuine vintage soda fountain, yes please!) And a cool small-gauge railroad, operated by enthusiastic afficionados, in the warmer months. Playgrounds and picnic areas. All delightful.

Largest park in the city. Good fishing, two playgrounds, nice museum with ice cream parlor, Football and Baseball fields, and train rides in the summer. Lots of wonderful spots for picnics as well. The park can be quite busy during the summer.

It is a huge park, with a lot of things to do. It has a playground for children with two big slides. a baseball field, tennis courts, you also can get on the lake waters with a canoe or kayak. In top of everything you can find here even a museum.

There are MANY things to do in Carson Park... see a semi-pro baseball game, play tennis, badminton, basketball, canoe, kayak, take a nature hike, visit a railroad display, tour a historical museum, have a picnic, RELAX... You name it, Carson Park has it... all in the heart of a major metropolitan area with 150,000 people...

My kids love Carson. Fishing, walking, nice play grounds. Always some animal running around to watch. The ball park and museums are there too so you can make an entire day out of it!

Recently did the ECU Charity Classic 10k this Saturday & views were amazing of Half Moon Lake during the run. Yes, there are hills on the run, but you don't seem to notice during the run. The fragrance of the pines were amazing as I passed the ball field.

This is a big beautiful and great park to go to with friends and family. Especially in the summer, there's a lot of events going on and they started doing concerts there.

Great place for a picnic, take in a baseball game (summer), play softball, watch high school and college football, two great museums - always something going on in Carson Park.
