This was a beautiful and well run park. A ranger was running the entrance and was super helpful and the trails were all well marked.

Although it is a permit required state park, the winding drive from entrance to the lake itself is beautiful! Fall colors abound, and the beach at the lake is more deserted than during summer months. Wildlife everywhere and just abrealxing time to sit and enjoy...More

There is a super cool place here just across the road from the lake with a fun rock wall to climb and if you go at the right time you could attempt to ice climb here as well. I would highly recommend winter camping here...More
