Very artistic boutique Museum with lots of cool arts. The lower floor shows an interesting type of paintings where there is a stipulation of having to draw a place 1 mile from where you live.
Will surely go back.

This Museum is in an old house and the woodwork and architecture is stunning. The woman in the gift shop was very knowledgeable about the exhibits. Rooms were neutral colored walls so displays were fabulous. Beer garden in back in the sculpture park. Closed Monday and Tuesdays. Beer garden maybe seasonal.

Regret passing this by on previous visits to Cedarburg! Missed so much. The 100+ yr old house with original woodwork, windows (even curved glass,) restored ceilings, offers art and a chance to create it in a craft room for kids on the 2nd floor. Their current exhibits are wonderful - miniature dioramas done in amazing detail by WI artist Doug Witz, beautiful water colors by members of the Wisconsin Watercolor Society, and original artwork by local schoolchildren. What a terrific way to promote the arts to all ages. Thirty minutes is plenty of time to see everything, add more to create and appreciate. Free admission, donate $ if you can.

Very nice FREE art museum in an old Victorian style mansion, which is a piece of art in itself. You can go through it in 20-30 minutes. Exhibits continually change. Right on Washington Avenue where all of the shopping is.

We walked past this several times and finally stopped in. The guide provided a quick oral tour, then we were allowed to walk thru the house at our leisure. The house has great architecture. On the second floor, large hand-painted piggy banks were for sale for $25. And wouldn't you know it, my wife was looking for a new one for our granddaughter!!! Score!!!

This old historic home was beautiful, even if it didn't have any art work displayed. What a Grand Old Home! The gentleman who greeted us at the door was very friendly and knowledgeable about the building's history. Some of the art we viewed was by school children, which was refreshing to see "budding artists' work". We were also told they have music in the backyard garden on Thursdays in Summer, along with beer and wine??

The volunteer from the visitor center told us to stop at the art museum just to see the inside of this beautiful Victorian home. The art is also very nice. Docents are helpful and it is iwithin walking distance of most everything in Cedarberg.

In my opinion, the house is the best piece of art. It still is a grand house that has been meticulously restored. The art exhibits are nice, but the house outshines them.

My wife and I stopped in as we were walking down the street. It was definitely worth the stop. We were able to see multiple artists and view with no rush or pressure. It was nice not only experiencing the art but even walking around the wonderful building. It has so much character on it's own.

My sister uses a walker: would she be able to visit the art museum?
Thanks!
