I had great expectations for the 5 Day Husky Adventure Tour, and they were even exceeded! From March 11th, 2020 to March 15th, 2020 I was a guest of Torsten and Peggy and enjoyed every moment! Everything was just right: • The professionalism, patience and hospitality of Torsten, Peggy, Ida and Vadim. • The friendly, affectionate and enthusiastic dogs Sötnos, Copper, Gator, Scroogie, Hercules were easy to manage and enjoyed being cuddled. • The scenery was overwhelming - truly a winter wonderland with fjäll, forest and frozen lakes without people other than us. • The food was delicious, and I particularly liked the moose meat and the saffronbullar. We even tried ice fishing and the small fish we caught was fried and served as a tasty appetizer. • During the tour we stayed 2 nights in a warm and cozy cabin without electricity and running water and with an outhouse. There was also a sauna. All of this made the wilderness experience perfect! • I particularly liked the small group - we were only 3 guests, and each had his own dog team. • It is worth mentioning that Snötroll is not a „leisure kennel “, but huskies are actually trained there for 1000-mile races. Torsten has finished the Yukon Quest several times and so there was plenty to talk about in the evening... I can highly recommend a sled dog tour with Snötroll Sleddog Adventures!!!!

I booked the One Week Husky Tour with Snötroll Sleddog Adventures, which took us through the Vindelfjällens Naturereserve in Swedish Lapland. It is a great experience to leave behind our often very loud world and get into this beautiful and silent snowy landscape in which you only hear the breath of the dogs and the murmur of the sleigh in the snow. Torsten, the owner, and Rolf, our guide, took great care of us. We were fully equipped with overalls, gloves, hat and shoes that would have resisted extreme cold. What characterizes this tour is its going from one-cabin-to-another-style, which are simple equipped, but very cozy. The daily stages (20-65 km) and altitude differences to overcome were appropriate to get used to sledding and controlling the dogs. It gets you involved in dogsledding and was also physically challenging at some point or another. You take care of the dogs in the mornings and evenings and you simply become part of the team. I personally liked the intimate group number of 4, which made it a better experience. The dogs are very well trained, strong, super cute and friendly, too. The team is seriously passionate about the dogs and sledding and Torsten would talk about his experiences in taking part in the Yukon Quest during the evenings, which I, for myself, enjoyed a lot. The food was absolutely delicious, especially having moose for the first time in my life. When arriving at the cabin on our last evening, we decided to have dinner outside and were rewarded with a hint of Northern Lights. I chose this tour, because the number one priority is the dogsledding experience and every aspect of the tour fits perfectly into the scheme. Thank you so much to the Snötroll Sleddog Adventures Team for making this an unforgettable experience that I will certainly book again. Best regards, Bianca

The expedition tour was well organized. However, participants should bring along some flexibility, as the weather conditions or other unpredictable circumstances may require changes of the itinerary. Torsten provides good equiped dogsledges and also well trained huskies. Overnight accommodation varies from basic cabins to luxury mountain lodges - depending on the local situation. The tour crosses the beautiful Laponian landscape with forests, lakes, mountains, swamplands and rivers. I recommend the tour to everyone who likes the nature and outdoor activities.

Snötroll tours offer a warm, familiar and very relaxed atmosphere in small groups. The backcountry hut is very cozy, the dogs are over-the-top playful and friendly, the views breathtaking and the guides experiences and fun to be around. A trip you won't easily forget.

I enjoyed a 3d trip with Torsten (tour led), Rolph (tour guide), my family, and a total of 27 dogs. If you're into Scandinavian wilderness, dogs, and good & simple food (Torsten is an excellent cook and is creating lethal breakfasts) such a tour will be heaven. It will be cold. There might be snow. You will contribute to the daily routines (drilling holes in frozen lakes to get fresh water, cutting wood, ...). You will take care of your team of dogs (preparing their straw nests, feeding, and a loooot of petting and cuddling). So, this is a kind of vacation for people seeking experience. Thank you Torsten, Rolph, Peggy, Ida, & the cuddly runners!
