This is a trip back to ancient times in an unexpected location. This was excavated by the Smithsonian museum. Everyone should see this at least once.

Walked to the top while in the area, interesting site but suggest that you read the history of it before visiting.

The Adena Mound is very interesting to see and learn about the history of this area. When you couple the information provided at this site its helps to put the history of this area in perspective. The location of this site is very close, across the street from several good places to eat.

Good interpretation info. Interesting to see an Indian mound in an urban environment. Easy & quick access from interstate.
