Start with an 11,000 acre playground serving up the best of the mountains, however you like it. Your days here are like having dessert first. Our Village is situated atop the mountain and gives you access to spa-ing, shopping and even dancing. It all feels better at 4,848 feet.

We went for a quick ski weekend and due to late season, much was closed. However, enough was open to have fun. The drive up to the mountain at night was rough on clean dry roads... would never do it in bad weather. The resort...More

For the last few years I'd always have to wait till close to season end to go to Snowshoe as there's never enough snow earlier in the season. This year's no exception, and the place got huge dumps in mid March. The advantage of being...More

Having skied out West often but live on the East Coast, I've often been told I need to check out Snowshoe. While you can't compare it to Rocky Mountain skiing, I was still blown away and annoyed with myself for not coming here sooner. Snow...More

It's kind of funny that the resort is the #1 thing to do in Snowshoe. It's pretty much the only thing to do but that's ok because it's on a mountain top in a place that gets decent snow. How you view Snowshoe is all...More

My son (18) and I visited from March 6-9 and stayed at the Allegheny Springs Resort. Overall, the trip was excellent. We were in room 324 - clean, small, but very functional. Access to the slopes and the village was a piece of cake via...More

We arrived early knowing that our room would not yet be ready but my son was enrolled in snowboard school so we planned to just hang out until room was ready. We had reservations at the Rimfire Resort and specifically requested a room overlooking the...More

Being from NC, the only ski resorts we know are in Boone, NC. They are ok but Snowshoe is your next level. Whether a beginner or intermediate skier or boarder, there are 60 trails. We only had around 40-45 open due to the warm weather...More

The room was obviously dated. Cheep furniture and uncomfortable beds. The sliding glass door would not close all the way, so it was literally snowing inside the room. We called the front desk and the lady actually said "I will tell the maintenance guy, but...More

My family headed to Snowshoe Resort in West Virginia this past weekend, braving major winds to find a slope with snow. This was our first time visiting this area partly due to the distance and partly due to the cost. We were pleasantly surprised that...More

We haven't been to Snowshoe in about 10 years. This trip was amazing! It was a little warm and slushy in spots but that kept the crowds down. We had the slopes to ourselves much of the time. Restaurants were great and the lodging was...More
