Nice, small museum. You have to reserve timed tix, which are free. Be sure if you select the first time of the day you don't try going in any earlier, they did not let us until the exact time of opening. It is very small, but there are some nice things to see, its very clean and we enjoyed the visit. One small suggestion, would love a room with maybe some student art? Student at the desk said they switch out the collections each semester.

Stopped by after hiking the Botanical trail. They had a very nice exhibit of cut paper artwork. The staff was super friendly and the Museum is very nice. I especially like the sculpture garden they have on the grounds.

Small art museum located on WVU Campus. Free to the public. A great place to spend an hour or two if you need to get out of the heat during the summer. Has a gallery that is dedicated currently to Appalachian art which is a great plus if your looking to experience unique locally inspired art.

This recently opened museum is a major addition to the arts scene in Morgantown. Visit soon and see the fabulous two-story mural in the Plevin Lobby done by the international graffiti artists known as How and Nosm. Also, be sure not to miss the large mural by the cubist artist, Blanche Lazelle, a Morgantown area native, done as part of the depression-era Federal Arts Project. There are also other paintings and prints by Lazelle, a pioneer of white line woodcuts, and a range of interesting other pieces. For those not familiar with the West Virginia fine arts tradition, this museum offers several pleasant surprises.

There are no straight lines in the Nath Sculpture Garden. You can wonder along the paths and contemplate Karisi's Spirit Bird sculpture. Zhenhai's Bridge, a stainless steel and limestone sculpture, dominates the area. It's worth it to seek out this garden on the WVU Evansdale Campus.

There was only one gallery available to view because the other gallery is being set up for a new exhibit. It was very quite and pretty small but, the art was okay.

The museum is a terrific addition to Morgantown. The Blanche Lazzell collection is the largest public collection of Lazzell. Her mural, "Justice", and the other works in this collection are well worth seeing. The collection is wide-ranging. The facility itself is lovely. While the hours it is open to the public are still somewhat limited, if you cAn, pay it a visit.

Visited here the first time wife friends after dinner. This new Art Museum located adjacent to the College of Creative Arts features a beautiful display of art work. There is beautiful pottery, ceramics, paintings and sculptures. The building is 2 floors and also features some artwork outdoors. It is free to tour and exhibits change periodically.

I walked by this museum for the past three weeks. It was always closed. It is closed Monday and Tuesday, open from 12:30 to 7:00 on Wednesday and Thursday, and open from 12:30 to 4:30 on Saturday and Sunday. I finally went in today (Saturday), my last day in Morgantown. I had enjoyed the walk path surrounding the museum many times. The path is bordered by flowers, plants, rocks, and modern sculptures. I finally made it inside. I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the stone interior and large staircase. There was only one room open, but the modern Chinese porcelain ceramics were marvelous to look at and admire. The staff appeared to be WVU students, but they were quite knowledgeable and polite. If you're walking around WVU (Evansdale Campus), it's worth a visit. It's also free.

Is the crocheted yarn tree installed in 2013 on campus still there and worth seeing?
