About
Spark! Imagination and Science Center is a hands-on children's museum and science center. Children and adults explore engineering,dinosaurs, space weather, nanoscience and health in a fun and interactive way. Children can also expand their imaginations through dress up and puppets and get exercise through play with our interactive Squishlets exhibit.

Admission was $5/person so for our 3 year old plus two parents it was $15. We have been to other Childrens museums in the past that were a much better value for the money. They have a fair amount of activities, but they are a relatively small center.
Staff was also very limited. There were only two people working on the day we went, one who stayed at the front desk and one who stayed with a program that was going on in the back. We were there for a few hours and didn’t see anything get sanitized by staff the entire time.
Our daughter had so much fun and didn’t want to leave! We will definitely be bringing her back in the future, I just wish they would do more to keep things clean, in place, and sanitized.

5 yr old didn't want to leave, wish they had longer hours - bright and engaging and lots of creative activities like puppets, healthy food station, play food, space/science/dinosaur/medical area.

The kids were totally entertained. I could see being there for several hours. Even the adults enjoyed. Price is reasonable.

Took the kids here on a rainy day. It was nice for the 3 and 6 year old but the 10 year old was bored

Went to this children museum with our grandson. Cost $5 each. Various things to do for small 4 1/2 old. About 1 hour total.

Very small museum relating to childre mostly to 4 through 10years old. Children are free to navigate from one center to another. Our grandsons ages 6 & 8 enjoyed the freedom to explore on their own.

I took my not yet 2 year old granddaughter here the day after Thanksgiving. The Center is in a small space in the old Mall. The exhibits are interactive. There was a limited amount appropriate for children under 3. Be sure to wash your hands before during and after. Staff oversite was limited.

Took my 4 1/2 yr old grandson. He wanted to go back the next day. He played well with other children, he asked for help from the staff who made him comfortable helping him, and Grandma was comfortable watching him from a nice couch.
Amazing use of a relatively small space (?30 feet by 60) for a children’s museum. Smaller area enhanced child to child interactions.

Great hands on activities for the entire family! The space is bright, clean and engaging. There are many exhibits that teach science in different fun ways for kids. GREAT option for indoor fun in Morgantown- I recommend bringing friends with!

My son really likes to go here and play with their interactive exhibits. They do a lot of outreach activities by bringing in outside groups to run demo tables. I myself have volunteered with some of my student orgs to help run these events. I would really like to see more of these demos have things for younger children. My almost 3 yr old gets a kick out of doing these sort of things, but often the special demos are way over his head, and he's almost at a kindergarten level. I notice children much older than him also not really engaging much at these demo tables either. STEM is a difficult concept for kids that age to grasp, but I think the volunteers need more guidance on what types of activities are appropriate for which age groups because they really don't have a clue. I realize they are volunteering and may not have much knowledge of dealing with children of certain ages, but it would be nice if the director would give them some pointers before they come in with activities that are not safe or age-appropriate for most school age children.
