My family has frequented Heston Farms in almost every capacity-- as a guest or host for large functions on the property, smaller ones outside in the front patio, or inside the restaurant and tasting room in the last several years. We love to have the...More

I have visited this restaurant every summer for the past three years. I can't quite put my finger on it but this year's visit was a bit disappointing. My food was great (collard greens were excellent!) but my friend's was not. When she later told...More

Pepperoni rolls are great and the peach chutney that came with the fried green tomatoes was delicious! Very...More

West Virginia is noted for winding, narrow, steep roads, but you really have to be motivated to attempt the obscure route to this delightful winery, distillery, and restaurant. We found ourselves on this hair-raising road pulling our 22 foot travel trailer, debating whether we should...More

Made the trip for wine tasting traveling from Deep Creek, MD to Roanoke, WV. Did not feel welcomed at all. Very small sampling of the wine. Were out of Reisling. Prices were rather high as well. Would not waste my time going back there.

This business only gets one star because I had to leave at least one...that's the only reason. I came from Louisiana for a family rehearsal dinner here. My family had a contract with this establishment for approximately 4 months. 3 weeks before the event, my...More
