The hotel staff recommended this park to us and since it was only a 10 minute drive from downtown, we decided to give it a try. The park has lots of features . . . baseball, frisbie golf, tennis, a pool, and lots of picnic...More

I've been coaching middle school golf for 7 years now and there is not a better beginner, short course out there for these young golfers to start their games. It's challenging yet fair. Even for the veterans of golf it offers challenging distances and greens.

Coonskin park has a little something for everyone. There is a golf course, fishing pond, small skate park, playground, trails and tennis courts. It has a driving range to practice your swings. If you are into just watching the ducks, the pond is a must...More

The course is a public course so the fees are reasonable. Small enough to walk the course and carry you own bag. It is family friendly. The driving ranges is up the hill and easy to get to.

Everything about coonskin needs an upgrade. Pool, golf, park, walkways. The county really needs to come and take a look at this place and give them some funds to get some of their equipment out of the 90's.

A beginners course for sure. I take my middle school golf team there for practices in the spring as I carry a club and just work my GIR and chipping.

We drove through the park on Mothers Day weekend, there wasn't one picnic area open:) Was so great to see everyone out enjoying the day. The park has a golf course, pool, play ground, several picnic shelters, Great place to spend the day.
