Opened in the summer of 2003, the Clay Center strives to present a variety of arts and sciences all under one roof. The Avampato Discovery Museum is two floors of fascinating interactive science exhibits, while the ElectricSky™ Theater features planetarium shows. In addition there are a large performance hall and a small black-box theater, an art museum, a fun museum shop, and a cafe. There's something interesting scheduled virtually every night here!

My first concert for ZZ Top and it was awesome! The seating at the Clay Center was great. We parked across the street from the venue. Easy ingress and egress. Highly recommend the Clay Center !

The Clay Center is an amazing place to visit. The museum is great and they have a lot of great shows to see. I have went to several Broadway shows there and have attended many functions. Wonderful place and great staff.

My husband and I and another couple recently attended a live performance of Mountain Stage at the Clay Center. What a beautiful venue and the acoustics for live music was awesome! Really enjoyed the show.

I suggest you keep an eye on the Clay Center's Facebook site. They had a free Summer Fun Day in early July. Last year, they offered free admission to military families between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
