Very short and activity appears mostly on weekend nights. Mostly drinking places. Several stores were no longer in business and I did not get a vibrant feeling.

We walked on this street tonight. Lots of places to eat , we tried a couple of places and ended at Ellen's ice cream. Simply delicious.

Capital Street is a great place to eat, shop, & people watch. The old architecture is charming. Just stroll along and take in the laid-back atmosphere. There are many different restaurants from which to choose.

When in Charleston a visit to Capitol Street is a must. Shops and restaurants dot both sides of the street, with many of the restaurants offering outdoor seating.

Yes. I believe all public places must be wheel chair accessible (I think it's a law there).
