Tamarack is right off the interstate beyond a rest stop. Great variety of local food. Trout, BBQ pork, chicken pot pies, sandwiches great deserts (cobbler, pecan pie and much more). Fast efficient cafeteria style service. Plenty of seating. Very nice galleries with local crafts.

We live in the area. It's a nice place to see local artists. But we really go to eat. Great food. The trout is delicious. Good fried green tomatoes too!

The Tamarack is a great place to stop and enjoy a menu that reflects the common dishes of the area and much more. As well, the facility houses some of the best examples of art created by local artists.

Trash everywhere outside, inside was equally as disgusting. Probably paid to much for gas also. None the less it's there, and it's open at 3:30 AM.

I have seen such an article before; I do not know if that would be currently sold at Tamarack, but you could Google and find it easily.

I'm not sure about tamarack but there is a travel center right beside it, which has ample parking. I assume they allow overnight parking.
