Awesome Park with Water Access

Beautiful Park. I just wish it featured wheelchair or stroller accessible trails. Still worth the trip.

Quiet, very clean and well maintained. The showers/bathrooms were spotless and like new. The sites were large and clean. Liked everything about the campground and the trails that intersect nearby.

Little Beaver State Park consists of 562 acres with an 18 acre lake. Depending on the season you can rent paddle boats, row boats, canoes, or kayaks. The park offers picnic shelters, playgrounds, hiking/biking trails, and a campground. It's a nice park but it's just a normal park.

We arrived here just before dark so didn't get to look around. Its east of Beckley, several miles off I-64. There is a lake people were fishing at, some shelters and a building that appeared to be an information center. The campground was further back in the park. The campground sites were nice, we had one with 30amp power, water... More

There are a number of things to do at Little Beaver and I suspect most visitors just come for the day, then head for home. But this park also has a very nice campground. We stayed here for one night with our 32-foot fifth-wheel. The roads are paved and many sites have both electricity (some with 50A) and water. There... More

Just driving around looking for someplace nice to fish. I happened upon this great state park with a nice lake stocked with trout. Rangers were very helpful and accommodating. Excellent place for families to visit, too.

Locals hold a good plenty events or festivals here, Medieval Times, Wildlife showings things like that. Plenty of places to burn off energy for young ones and older young ones. Covered shelters for those of us who burn easily or just enjoy sitting in the shade. I'm not sure if they still have the paddle boats there or not. I... More

Really enjoyed the park's trails, walk around the reservoir, and did some Geocaching while we were there. The forest in this region is very uniquely damp, mossy, and smells wonderful.

We came here even with the drizzle rain. The park was clean and the water falls while we ate was great.

Beautiful place in the area to walk. It has a small lake that we walked around in about a half an hour. We took a lot of pics while here.
