Best wine ever!

Attended a wine tasting here and also went on a tour, Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Loved tasking all the different wines and found a new favorite.

We went on a concert day and could not take the tour. The grounds are nice, with a couple of pleasant spots to picnic, but entirely forgivable. Their commercial wines (sold at stores) are much more expensive at the tasting/gift room than at your local supermarket. Besides their "commercial" wines, they make several types of what I would call "experimental"... More

Started Sunday Funday at Chateau Ste. Michelle as it opens earlier than most other tasting rooms at 10am. Immediately noticed the beauty of the grounds, tasting room and gift shop. Lovely! I chose to do a Riesling tasting and had very much been looking forward to it. Best word to describe was disappointing. Wine was mediocre and absolutely cannot compare... More

One of the few wineries which has a tour. The tour is free and you get a free tasting at the end. Get tickets in the main building. Tours leave on the hour and last about 30 minutes total. We also did a $10 tasting, which had different wines. They will pour you more if it looks like you will... More

We have had a fair number of bottles of wine from this winery over the years and find them to be a great value for the money. They make some higher end wines but they were not part of our tour tasting. Since we had wine at lunch and were having an early wine dinner we took a pass on... More

This is a great place to stop for a little while and enjoy the wine life. They have an excellent tour program that culminates with a three item sample at the end. You can also extend your sampling to include all of their wines. And their wines...WONDERFUL! I would suggest this for anyone looking for a winery tour.

Deep within the extravagant store and tasting room of Chateau Ste. Michelle Vineyards is Col Solare Bottega- a tasting room in a glass box. Truth be told, this was a surprise to me and I had just stopped in the gift store/tasting room to get a gadget. Ste. Michelle has some good wines but I've never fallen in love with... More

This is a Beautiful winery...a great place to get oriented to the zillions of tasting rooms in Woodinville. Great wines, nicely organized, staff very friendly and accomodating.

We arrived early (10:30am) and was amazed by the beautiful setting. Note that the actual vineyards are located in the Walla Walla valley (4 hrs east of Seattle). This location is for marketing and events only. The couple rows of vines you see around the front gate area is for show only. We were greeted at the door with a... More

Because we live close, we probably visit a handful of times a year. Take a picnic lunch, walk the grounds, do a little wine tasting, then plop yourself and your picnic basket down on one of the many lawns. A great way to spend a sunny afternoon. We have seen several concerts here as well, and just love the venue.... More
