The Methow River is beautiful as it curves and winds thru the valley. Many place to stop and fish, picnic or just enjoy the scenery.. Makes the visit to this area memorable.

It is a very nice town to take a walk, access river, eateries, restaurants, etc. It is great to stay a night and just relax enjoying couple of hours in the evening while on cascade loop trip.

Wife and I floated river with fishing guide Clint Griffen. The river was high at about 5000 cfs. So big, dirty and fast.Though conditions were not ideal the river was beautiful. This is a great fly fishing river you should try.

A true blue ribbon trout stream with wild.cutthroat, rainbows, cuttbows, steelhead, bull trout, salmon, and whitefish. Amazing river. Doesn't get the pressure that the Yakima gets - the Yakima is THE most over-rated river in the country - the Methow offers quiet, solitude, and fantastic...More

This is a special place! Numerous river access point throughout the Methow Valley. Find a spot that suits you and enjoy the pristine water of the Methow River flowing by.

We have seen the river from various spots, and it's such a wonderful area to explore, cross the bridges, and sit on a picnic bench to relax. Even in August the water was high.

This is a beautiful river. Our group of 6 families stayed at Methow Tents (Rolling Huts) right on this river and it was fantastic. Young kids loved to play along the bank, some got out the fishing rods. Awesome time in a beautiful location.

Definitely take some time to visit the Methow River Valley. There are many places to access it, including right in the town of Winthrop where we explored. They have a cute footbridge in town, restaurants and shops backing onto it, and it just picture perfect.

We were in this area Mid-October and the colors of fall are fantastic. The water is clear although shallow this time of year but the view is fantastic.
