Great museum of the old west. We camped next door at the rv Park and spent some time wondering around lots of old equipment, staged old buildings, and lots more. Walking distance from town

Donation only so no cost. This place has so much to see and will learn alot about the history of the area. A Great place to take kids so they can learn what life was like and see the tools that were used.

Hello tfcbob: The Shafer Museum is open everyday from May 26.The building are open daily from 10am - 5pm the grounds are open during daylight hours. The admission price is by donation. I hope you enjoy your visit.
