My son played the gold course and gave it his highest rating. I am not a golfer so I walked a nature trail above the course with gorgeous views of the course and the bay it surrounds. The community of University place is beautiful as well; well groomed loans and homes. I had lunch in the golf club restaurant, terrific... More

Like many golfers, I watched the 2015 US Open on TV and marveled at the Chambers Bay landscape. Work took me to the Seattle area and I wasn't going to miss my chance to play it. Not knowing the demand for tee times, I made mine 60 days in advance as soon as it opened. On the day of, I... More

Wednesday, April 24 I played the 18 holes at Chamber's Bay. What a spectacular place! It was sunny, 50 degrees and the wind was howling, and I loved it. From up tees this is a very playable course, not nearly as baked out as it was in the Open. For 85 bucks I got to play a great course, with... More

Our group played Chamber's Bay last weekend. And boy it did not dissapoint. Pulling up to the parking lot, you overlook the entire course. It was awe inspiring. We had a 10 am tee time and it was still a bit rainy when we got in. We checked in and headed down to the range. Prior to the round, one... More

Been in the area for a week and the sun finally came out. Went to the site of the 2015 US Open to check it out. I was not disappointed!! The place is beautiful!!! Took numerous photos of this old gravel mind turned championship golf course. The layout is tremendously challenging and the views are simply wonderful. If you have... More

Many interesting things to see; structures, small rock/wood water front, nice bridge over the train tracks. Can't wait to get back there.

Located adjacent to Chambers Bay Golf Club, the park and walk area is great! Bridge over the tracks, can walk north or south on the beach. Sunshine, wide beach, beautiful views. Great activity for any day!

Outstanding golf course - very different from the average parkland experience. I definitely recommend getting a caddy. As mentioned, the course plays differently and you will be thankful for the reads on the greens. You can't beat the views unless you're at Pebble!

They have plenty of walking trails, soccer fields, fairly new playground with toys, beach play, dog park, clean bathrooms and of course plenty of parking. Its a safe place to be, just dont leave valuables in your car (which you shouldnt anywhere) Dont forget your camera for some great sunsets... More
