So disappointed to discover this place doesn't open until May. It looked very interesting. We were there on April 2nd on a beautiful sunny day. Unfortunately, it was not well advertised that it is still closed for the season.

We visited this old impressive looking brick station on the NP mainline in September. While there were exhibits and outside cars awaiting restoration; we felt the museum overcharged us for what we got out of it. It looked to us that the facility is struggling to finance their organization(?). I guess we were looking for more info/stories on and about... More

My wheelchair bound husband and I found the museum wonderful. The displays were well kept and would raise anyone's curiosity. The feel of a maybe "more romantic time" for travel was all around. The only disappointment was that we could not drive the wheelchair to the large trains and engines sitting at the back of the museum. There were no... More

Train Museum was interesting. Some very old trains that need a lot of work on them. Inside the museum building they have some interesting information.

We are bicycle touring the Northwest. We had some time to spend in Toppenish and found this museum. The exhibits and artifacts are not that extensive but they did a nice job of displaying everything. We spent about an hour inside and enjoyed ourselves. It was a hot day and this museum is not air conditioned. The rolling stock in... More

There are a few newer restored items but most are "years" from being restored. That doesn't mean it's not a nice museum but be prepared to see older items in need of repair. Another item is you can see inside these engines and cars. The day my grandson and I visited we were allowed an behind the scenes tour of... More

Trains always fascinate children so this museum is a real go for children. Lots of "big stuff" to look at and learn about. Nicely located and plenty of parking. Of course the kids like the outdoor stuff, but there is indoor stuff for us adults. The volunteers are knowledgeable.

We drove about 4 hours to attend and were pleasantly surprised. The grandboys had a ball. Lots of hands on things to do, wish there had been more vendors. The vendor that had lemonade and kettle corn, rocked it. The volunteers went out of their way to ensure everyone had a great time. The museum is outstanding! Thank you, NPRM!

This museum has unique and different displays of historic railroad memorabilia. They offer an inside display and an outdoors display area. The station has recently been refurbished and is a terrific example of an early station. The outside display features rolling stock and locomotives. We also were able to gain access to the workshop where a locomotive is in the... More

Read the reviews here at Tripadvisor for this museum. There is a lot of old railroad memorabilia. We found that many of the items had no tag or no information attached. There were some old broken down train cars outside, again without any real information as to what you were looking at or other information. T ook about ten minutes... More
