This is a great park to drive/walk through, but in the rain, it kind of stinks. This park is meant to be enjoyed out in the open and not from behind a car window. (though you certainly can do that) Lots of scenic areas to stop along the five mile route. There are gardens too, but it was raining when... More

This is a must do drive whenever I'm in the area! It's so lush and got such scenic views of Pueget Sound.

You've can have it all, a walk by the beach, a trek through the woods, a visit to the zoo, and a place to dine afterwards that looks on the sound. I fully enjoy this park every time I come.

Point Defiance is stunning. There are walking/jogging paths all over. The drive around 5 mile loop is beautiful even if you're not into walking.

Fun, & entertaining! Wildlife everywhere. I saw a seal, some sea birds, & a renewed appreciation for Mother nature.

I'VE caught salmon right off the beach. Good swimming kyak rentals. Boat... More

Loved this area! There's a 5 miles scenic drive with multiple pullouts for photos. Walking trails, a fort and a zoo all in one place. Saw elk and several raccoons hanging out. You can easily spend a day here. There are also walking trails. I definitely recommend going.

We go Point Defiance at least once every week or two:) We either walk the trails in the gorgeous old growth forest or we walk at Owen Beach, searching for seals swimming in the Puget Sound, or watching Jellyfish blob around by the docks! We have two little kids, 4 and 1, and they always enjoy our outdoor excursions! Even... More
