We drove through the park, stopping at Owens Beach and the Rose Garden. The park is beautiful, and well worth seeing. The raccoons stand next to the road begging for food, so people must not read the signs saying "Do Not", but they're cute.

This is a can't miss park. It's near the end of Ruston Way, which is also a beautiful drive. The park is free and so is the parking. The aquarium and fort charge a fee but it is very educational.

Be sure to do the drive around the park, we saw lots of wild life. Also stopped on the beach on the drive, which has a great view.

Point Defiance is just across Puget Sound from our home and this picture looks at us. It is a lovely park and well used. Really fun with family and individuals. Enjoy the park and the beaches

This park is fantastic! The zoo was great with a huge variety of animals and sea life. There is also a beach, and tons of hiking. It's a wonderful place to come and hang out for the whole day.

We rode through the park and walked along the water. Such a pretty park. Just did not have long enough to visit.

Should be nice, but although they are having a warm rain free summer, some rain any month is the norm, so check out the forecast on accuweather before you go so you are prepared.

Historically, we have had red foxes living in the park, but regulars have said there have been fewer sightings in recent years. They are extremely elusive, nocturnal animals. There are no particular locations in the park... More
