We thought we were going to the Museum of Glass, but stumbled upon this little shop instead (they helped us navigate the walk to the MOG). We got to meet some of the local artists, and they were awesome to talk to. They love their craft, and are very gifted artists. So glad we saw this place, even if it... More

Don't miss a chance to experience the art of glass blowing. Brian, our instructor guided us through an amazing experience. Our lesson was organized, safe and very timely. Plan 45 min./per person. I'm hooked. I'll be going back again.

Skip the sparse displays, paid parking, and expensive gift shop at The Museum of Glass and head seven blocks southwest to Tacoma Glassblowing Studio where you can get up close and personal with the entire glass blowing process. Once there you can sign up for one of their affordable classes to get a hands on experience you won't soon forget... More

Having blown glass in Denver, this experience topped them all. The shop is very well run and friendly. I signed up after finding them online and visited them while on vacation in the area. I was impressed with cost for the pieces and experience....AND they shipped them home, safe and sound. This is way better than paying for a glorified... More

Nice shop with local artist works. Bought a few pieces and very happy with them. I will definitely return again next trip. They even offer classes to design your own artwork!

First time doing this and definitely will not be my last. My sister treated my husband and I during our visit to Tacoma and we will have an ever lasting memory of our time together. Brian, our instructor was amazing. His passion as an artist really is reflected in how helpful and hands on he was during our time at... More

The hands-on session at the Tacoma Glassblowing Studio was truly memorable. The people were great and extremely friendly. They were very patient starting with my intial phone call where I asked about the two different packages .. even going to measure how big the pieces were for each package. The location of the studio is in the beautiful Tacoma downtown... More

My mom, nephew and I did the Glass Blowing Experience and WOW what an experience. You get to pick your design and colors and than make it, with the help of your instructor. They are so patient and knowledgeable and they are shipping ours home for us. Definitely recommend.

after seeing the museum it was very interesting to see how they make glass objects and the amount of work that goes into them.

While in Tacoma I walked down to the water and found the museum. Was happily surprised to find some nice glass art, but what I really enjoyed was the demonstration area. You can view while a pice of glass is worked on. To see how many people can work so well together on one piece of glass is fun.
