I was driving from Coeur d'Alene to Portland to take late at night flight from Portland Airport I looked for attractions on my way in Spokane and I found the Sky Ride this was on July 17th 2024 at 1:35 p.m. it's a high season but also it's on a weekday they told me to go in to buy a ticket I went in and there was only one family at the register so you would think it will be very quick right? Actually no it took 10 minutes and I was still waiting for the cashier to process one family which I learned later that they were getting refund I was frustrated and I left to just take a few pictures and go back in when the long transaction is over when I went back in now there were group of 20 kids waiting in line to rent skates and it's only one register so I know that will even take a lot longer time even though they have two registers I don't understand why they don't use the second register and I also don't understand why they don't have kiosks that people can just buy their tickets on it with a credit card then an employee told me that I can just buy the ticket online so I bought it online which it still took 3 to 4 minutes so I spent a total of 20 minutes just to get a ticket and now when I went to get on the girl didn't even want to bother seeing it I guess because she just trust me when I told her that I bought the ticket online.
Now when I get on the cable car the windows are way too dirty you can't see anything and you have to stick your hand with the phone out of a little opening which you may risk drop your phone just to get a picture or a video and if you try to get your selfie with the waterfalls from inside the cable car it's impossible because the window will show nothing since it's all dirty and scratched and I am not saying if they clean it it will be clear no it's actually permanently dirty.
Also careful if you buy your tickets online in advance because you might find it closed as, it's happening to a lot of people when you check the reviews because they don't operate during heat temperatures and even when the sun is out it's like an oven inside the gondola and you can't do anything but to fry in it for 25 minutes until it comes back luckily for me it was cloudy and it wasn't that warm.
The other thing is that for 4 to 5 times throughout the ride the cable car will stop for 3 to 4 minutes just so that they can let people in and out at the base and the time it's moving it's moving very slow so you will be 25 minutes in the cable car for just a very short ride and I was 40 minutes late to get back to my car because I feed the meter for 1 hour but luckily I didn't get a ticket.
I strongly don't recommend this Skyride and instead just walk down 7 minutes from the visitor center to a viewpoint and see the falls.
I spent a total of 90 minutes for this $15 unpleasant ride.
I don't recommend this so called Skyride to anyone especially if you have a family which you may spend up $100 waste of money and time just save your money and walk down to the falls.

I took my grand children, 7 and 9, over the Memorial Day weekend to take their first gondola ride. I purchased the tickets online or you can go inside the building when it opens at 10. The wait to board wasn't too long. If you have ever taken a ski lift, it's pretty much the same. Our ride took about 20 minutes and the kids were excited to see Spokane Falls from above. At first, they weren't sure about the movement of the gondola, due to stopping every few minutes to let passengers on or off at the loading platform, but they soon forgot about it when we approached the falls. Overall, they thought it was pretty cool. The ticket building also has a snack bar and clean restrooms. It's something different to do in town.

We thought that the Spokane falls at Riverfront Park we’re very good. We managed to photograph them for the bridges crossing the river and we could - had we wanted - get closer by walking a fairly short distance. We thought that the Skyride would be cool so we went for that. It does give a good view of the falls but it’s quite stop/start and the whole ride is about 15 minutes including all the stops. We were sadly underwhelmed by the ride which we felt was overpriced.

Just ok. Slow cause they are unloading and loading people constantly. Also its a very short ride so not sure its worth the money. Its good if you have small kids or if you cant walk and want a great view of the falls. If you are capable of walking down to the falls just do that and save the money.

Great way to see Spokane's falls. It is a relatively quick, about 20 minutes. We did not wait in much of a line, the line moves pretty quickly. Friendly staff. Gondola is totally enclosed, not too bad even in the cold.

When I decided to take the sky ride I wasn't expecting more than just being fun. What a fantastic way to see the falls. Highly recommend. The ride stops over the falls allowing for great photos. A very different perspective than what you see along the Riverfront walk. They even had senior rates making it more affordable. I would recommend going in the spring with the water is high.

Very overpriced! The ticket girl told us it was a 15-20 min ride. Well it was that long but you only moved a short way then stopped for 3 or 4 minutes. You can see the falls on your own by walking down the trail and save yourself a whole lot of money.

This attraction is the biggest rip off I’ve ever seen. The sky ride takes you approximately 100 yards and you simply hang over the river and look at it. Trashy riverbank most of the time. Biggest waste of $30 we’ve ever spent.

The gondola is a short ride but very worthwhile. The cars are disinfected and allowed to dry between uses. The cars are really nice with open areas for picture taking. They stopped right in front of the falls to get some great pictures. My friend and I were really glad we did this and we would highly recommend it.

I highly recommend taking this ride over Spokane Falls.

We had walked through the park and enjoyed the riverside views of the falls, but the perspective from the Skyride was even better. The staff at the Skyride were so very helpful and polite throughout. It was well worth the price of the ride to see the fall from above.
