Absolutely beautiful park and gardens. Very neat, clean, and organized. I felt like I'm in Paris whenever I went there. Elderly couples holding hands, kids playing and chasing butterflies, photographers taking shots of graduates, and a lot more! There are many themed gardens. My favorite is the Rose Garden. There's also a small shop/place that sells sandwiches, ice cream, and... More

Manitoba is a wonderful place for all ages. Beautiful gardens. A covered picnic shelter with barbecues. A fun, casual outdoor eatery, The Park Bench, open only during warm weather events with free live music on Friday evenings. During the Christmas Season, visit the Geiser Conservatory after dark (open til 7:30), a greenhouse with gorgeous Christmas lighting). Great sledding when there's... More

Busted the conservatory for their indoor light show. It is always a treat and new lights are added every year. Our group had a 1 year old all the way to 86. We all had a great time

All areas of the park are amazing but the Japanese Garden in fall is perfect! Duncan gardens, Rose garden, greenhouse, and lilac gardens all part of Manito Park can be visited year round with different months featuring different blooming areas!

Most weekday mornings I walk through part of this park on my way to a nearby Coffee Shop. If I'm in the park on my way over I am likely to meet a few runners out for an early morning (before 7:00 am) jaunt. On my way home I commonly see people out walking their dogs or just out "getting... More

Manito Park is one of Spokane's most beautiful parks since it was designed by the same gentleman who designed Central Park in New York, NY in the earliest days of Spokane. Toward the south part of the park is are the formal gardens, which are rich and luxurious spring, summer and fall. I highly encourage visitors to spend time wandering... More

My husband grew up in Spokane and played in that park for years--I have seen it in the summer with the gorgeous roses-- but even in the winter there is a peace to be found there.
