I ran into many single walkers here that seemed to enjoy the water, the huge sailboats and the local stories of orcas and whales in the bay. I loved this park and walked on the beach from the parking lot for about an hour near sunset. This place was not crowded and a locals hangout.

The RV hook up section is very close to the road , the lower loop doesn't have power hook up, but it's a lot quieter. The upper Loop is closed in the winter. But this park sits on the water , it's a beautiful Park and it's close to home . The camp host are always really friendly

We went here to do some fall hiking. Discovered there really aren't any trails here except the discovery trail that passes through the park. There are good campsites for tents and rv's with hook ups. There was a lot of highway noise at the sites nearer 101. The park had a boat launch on to Sequim Bay.

The campground itself is great. It has gorgeous waterfront views, clean bathrooms, and walking trails to explore the bay. The only downside for me was that it is right off the main road and i really dislike falling asleep and waking up to all the car traffic.

This state park on Discovery Bay is easily found on the route between Port Townsend and Sequim, WA. Entrance off the main highway, which is filled with RVs is easy to find. The walks through the forest are lovely. Nothing like the conifer forests of Washington and glimpses of the beautiful bay.

Small park adjacent to the John Wayne Marina. Beach access, picnic tables and walking path. RV park across the street.

Bring your RV to spend the night, or just come for the day, either way is great! And for even 'more' fun, get your clamming licence, a bucket, small rake, and hike down to the beach! Make sure to wear your license around your neck, because the Park Ranger has binocs and checks everyone out! And know your limits! Then... More

Stayed at the camp ground. Wonderful place, recommend the lower loop with a view of the bay. Gorgeous. Showers - buy tokens. Flushable toilets. Well maintained, friendly staff.

Nice park centerly located within driving distance of several attractions! Beautiful flowers in full bloom as you enter the park, Day pass required. Camping areas nicely kept, little tight for bigger rigs to get around though. Walking trails, activities, beach area, picnic options, boat dock.
