the park is huge which is nice. the issue is there is not sufficient parking for how big the park is to accommodate everyone. It's sad in such a large park they do not allow bikes or dogs.

Yes most of the walking area is paved. I believe there are small trails that branch off the main one that are just dirt but the main path is all paved.

Lk. is still very cold. I haven't heard if it's closed to swimming yet..Ducks, Ducks and more ducks is the usual reason for a closed beach...watch for signs...They post "No Swimming"..
