Hike is short but very good. Woods are very interesting with some fallen down. This is one of the very good hikes along the loop that are very easy to get to but a great chance to see the giant trees and unique woods

The easy trail includes great signs which explain the rain forest and the trees, bushes and creeks you see along the way.

There is something amazing about walking through a rainforest in a brilliant sunshiny day. It's majestic to see sunbeams shooting through moss encrusted ancient maple groves. The ranger station was closed but the two trail heads are well marked. We did not see any animals...More

There are a lot of interesting trees for kids to explore, trail is easy, and hike is short. But my kids really enjoyed this one. There is a nice restroom and a few picnic tables.

We only saw a herd of elk over there; not much other than that. We didn't see any bear nor did we hear anything about bear over there. It was nice and peaceful while we were there. I hope this help and enjoy your trip.
