Even though we didn't see Orca's, this company puts on one of the best excursions I've been on! It starts with a very comfortable boat with galley style seating.. nice comfortable bench seats with tables. They have assigned seats and there were just 4 of...More

This was our first whale watch so I don't really have anything to compare it to but our day was amazing! We did the whole day whale watch with a stop in Friday Harbor (adorable little town). Captain Rob was knowledgeable and First Mate Claire...More

We booked the 8-hour whale watching tour last week. The weather was superb. On the way to Friday Harbor we say 15 whales, some bald eagles and seals. Had lunch in Friday Harbor (not included) during a 2-hour "break". The staff was very informative and...More

The best part of this trip was the crew...they were upbeat, friendly and helpful. Information was provided consistently throughout the cruise. They cannot control weather conditions, so I can't rate them fairly on the actual cruise. The weather was pretty bad--very windy with extreme chop....More

Went on the "Puffin Cruise" from Port Townsend. The Glacier Spirit is a comfortable boat, but the layout of the boat isn't ideal (things get crowded when everyone rushes to one side of the boat, people on the deck end up obstructing the view of...More

We were welcomed warmly as we checked in. The trip started out in deep fog, but after the first couple hours we broke out of the fog and enjoyed a beautiful day.

Safe, professionally run whale watch, in a comfortable vessel but the dedication to "see some whales" overrode the comfort of us as passengers. 2+ hours out to Victoria from Port Townsend and then almost 3 hours back, on rough water, was ... uncomfortable.

It would be difficult if allowed. There have never been pets on my trips. The engines can be loud when accelerating.... and some days are crowded. I don't recommend taking a dog even if it is allowed.

Boy, that's a tough one. The group gathers at the building then goes down to the boat. That is basically crossing the street and going over a curb. The ramp to the boat is doable via wheelchair. Not 100% sure if the... More
