We were driving through and stopped to have lunch on the beach. Make sure you buy lunch in town, because the store only had snacks.

I don't know how this is a state park when it's full of college kids attending the college and who stay in the old bunkers. Alexander's castle is a residence apparently and so we weren't able to tour it as the sign said do not...More

We were delayed by weather from leaving the marina, so we went to the park... it was great! The small museum was packed with interesting displays and information... don't miss it!

This is a good stop that can provide an entire day of interesting activities for a family. Two small museums on the grounds, plus a marine science exhibit are good. This state park is just outside of Port Townsend, Washington and was a relaxing place...More

Great place to visit! I live 30-minutes away and take visiting company and friends there, they are impressed every time. Lots of history, beautiful views and if you are into camping a great campsite!

The park with its broad avenues, wrap-around beach, and its fully accessible fort is one of the best in the Pacific Northwest. It will take you at least half a day to get the most enjoyment out of this large retired military base.

The restored military base is an excellent place to have music festivals. We look forward to several throughout the year. Accommodations vary from houses to camping.

Sorry - I don't know their policy about cancellations because I live nearby. Contact them right away though, so someone else can take the spot. They are in high demand I hear.
