We enjoy visiting this park to look for eagles and other wildlife. Our visit did not disappoint. We saw several golden and bald eagles and a lot of ducks.

This park has wonderful re-inactment activities available several times a year. Children and old alike can learn so much of the local history by partaking in this great adventure, Lewis and Clark and early frontiersmen and trappers tell of their lives in the early West.

This park is great for a field trip if you have a class that wants to observe birds. You might even get lucky and see a beaver swimming in the water. The park has a winding road leading into it, and if you visit on...More

The road into the park goes through an ugly industrial area, but if you persist you will find a green treed oasis at the confluence of the Snake and Columbia Rivers. Big sycamore trees shade paths with nice signage about local history. There is a...More

Sacajawea State Park is situated on a beautiful point of land where the Snake and Columbia Rivers meet. The Maya Lin circles are so so, as is the Sacajawea exhibit. This could be easily missed.

The park at the confluence of Snake and Columbia Rivers is a special piece of land; old trees watch over geese and people alike. The paths invite reflection and lead to a small gem; a lovely and thoughtful exhibit that commemorates Native American culture along...More

This is a great launch point for kayaking the beautiful surrounding areas. There is a shallow, waveless, inlet that makes getting in and out a cinch. There's a regular launch too for others boaters. This park has plenty of mature trees, shade, and picnic tables.
