I try to make it out to Priest point at least twice a month. Its a small park, but once your inside you'd never know it. The trails are fun, and easy, and the beaches are lovely for picnicking! Worth a visit!

Nestled in the heart of Olympia, Priest Point Park is both breathtakingly beautiful, and offers some of everything for everyone. It is pristine rainforest, with beautiful Puget Sound water front, and has lovely hiking trails and picnic areas. It's a must-see, must-do experience in Olympia! I recommend grabbing a nice brown bag lunch (5th Avenue Sandwich Shop is a great... More

Me and the family enjoyed the hikes but my daughter fell in love with the playground. Lots of different trails and the views from the beach are delightful.

Priest Point Park is a small park in the Olympia area. You can get down to the water here, but make sure you go when the tide is up. Otherwise, you'll see a lot of mud. It is a beautiful setting with nice trails...a good place to go for a brief getaway from the chaos of the world.

This is an amazing, peaceful park that seems to be under-utilized. I was looking for a place for my daughter and I to walk while visiting the area. It has lots of picnic tables and gazebos, water access, glider swings, a playground, and a flower garden. It did not have any staff or any signs about trails, but seems well-maintained.... More

This park offers well groomed trails with adequate shade on a hot day. Great for family time. There's a cave by the beach acess trail that's worth climbing into. Small gardens in the middle of the park. There's.a playground and this park seems to be popular with the local families for having birthday parties. The bathrooms were clean and well... More

Wow what an amazing beautiful hike that leads down to the waterfront. Take a picnic and enjoy the beauty of the Puget Sound. Life doesn't get any better than this. The smell of the salt water and the sound of the waves crashing on this shore is perfect. Enjoy!!

This was a unique type of forest! Its very "rainforest" like, but on the western coast! The trees had great green moss growing on them and the trees themselves were huge! Reminded me a lot of the Sequoias in California. Great trail system. Some easy paths, some more challenging, but overall, not too hard of a system.

Every city needs a park that has something for everyone. Tacoma has Pt. Defiance and Olympia has Priest Point. Good for hiking though the woods and walks along the beach. Nice playgrounds, bathrooms, picnic areas. Check out the website to get all the info...and go!

This was a great park. Lots of hiking and a beach overlooking downtown. There were many places for picnics or gatherings as well as a great playground for kids
