Went with my autistic grandson on a sunny weekday when the park was greatly under used. We had a great with him playing well with other children who were also accompanied by caring adults.

Such a peaceful place to walk, run, or camp (among other things I suppose). Trails aren't too long and kept in good condition to walk without major issue. Would recommend if you're wanting to see the Port of Olympia, great place to go!

One of the more scenic parks that gives you a glimpse of the Capitol building and the Overlook of the water. If you're lucky you can see some wildlife.

A nice little park, but not a lot of signs. We walked around a bit until we found the trail head. Initially, the trail stays close to the highway, but goes up and down the hill that's been carved by the streams. Trails are well maintained. Halfway through our hike, it started to pour. So we took the short-cut back... More

the park has multiple experiences -- big old growth trees, a rose garden, walks along the Sound and trails down to the water -- oh, and play areas.

This is always a nice place to go, just five minutes from downtown. A very nice park, with great waterfront views, amongst the beautiful fir trees.

A very nice No-Frills park on the shores of Bud Inlet, the southern tip of Puget Sound... I lived in Olympia for the first 30 plus years of my life and know this park very well... Like I said nothing fancy but a very beautiful and Scenic Park conveniently located less than 5 minutes from downtown Olympia
