We didn’t do any hiking in the Park as my husband is limited with walking, but we did enjoy a beautiful drive to the top with one stop at a Lookout point! What a view! Absolutely gorgeous! It was a clear day so you could...More

This is a beautiful hike. It circles the lake close to the shoreline most of the time. The scenery includes the lake and many moss covered rolling hills. The path is well worn and rocky at times. We would gauge the distance at closer to...More

We went up and were in the clouds but stopped at the viewpoint for a great vista, went back later for snacks and a perfect view

Drive your car all the way to the top of Mt. Constitution, bring a lunch, sit there, enjoy and take in the spectacular view for an hour or two. That's what I did (hiked so much during the week, muscles were too sore). Seriously one...More

I loved this place! We had mountain bikes, rented them in Eastsound, friend had bike rack. Great ride up Mount Constitution and all through the woods, around lakes, smaller summits, etc. Magical place. Not to be missed, on foot or bike. Excellent.

Good hike with great views of the Rosario Strait, Mt. Baker, and various islands in the San Juan Archipelago. You can add some distance by beginning at Cascade Lake. You can also follow a trail on the east side of Mountain Lake. If you begin...More

I booked a site on a Sunday to Monday. I tried to get one close to the water. It didn't really matter as there is zero privacy. I could hear my neighbors/see them. It's pretty loud in that sense. Thankfully I brought ear plugs. I...More

We arrived on Orcas Island in our boat, but rented a car to explore the island. While there are many interesting places to see, our favorite was a drive to the top of Mt. Constitution. The road is very good, albeit somewhat narrow in spots...More

You have to make your reservations early, but there's no comparison. These are great campsites - particularly if you like proper bathrooms and hot showers. The hike around and views from Cascade Lake are outstanding. Mountain Lake is always a nice excursion. Mt. Constitution is...More

We tent-camped at the Midway campground on the Cascade Lake (south lake in the park). The campsite was very crowded and the sites were small. We booked too late and got one pretty much on a cliff, which added a lot of stress having 3...More

Depends on if one is walking on the road or trail. Are we talking about Mount Constitution? That trail is extremely steep in portions so you have to take it slow and hiking poles would be a good idea. Trail shoes clearly... More

Only went to Moran SP, if you plan on hiking. Plan at least a day visit, other wise 1/2 day if you will not be doing any hiking. If you plan on camping I think you can make reservations. Do that ASAP.
