We attended the Fly Fishing Film Festival this Spring and had a wonderful time. The seats were comfortable, the temperature was perfect and the sound system worked well. The whole presentation was professional and loads of fun. We all had to laugh a little when...More

Built in 1926 as a combination movie palace/vaudeville theater, the Lincoln is an architectural gem. We've enjoyed amazing concerts (Los Lobos; David Lindley; Uncle Bonsai; Lulo Reinhardt, Django's grandson) , adventurous local theater (CATS, Stand and Deliver, Rocky Horror, Our Town) and broadcast performances from...More

My husband and I went to see Mark Cohn and Blind Boys from Alabama at this theater. I had concerns when I saw the exterior. The interior has been refurbished and they have a great sound system for concerts. I was drooling over to look...More

You won't find the big names in current motion pictures here. What you will find is an adorable little theatre nestled in the midst of down town. This theatre often plays older movies or has plays by local and visiting acting troupes. Truly something to...More

.....but with a modern sound system. Go back to your childhood with a Wurlitzer organ show to begin with followed by a great movie. And of course you have to do the REAL BUTTERED popcorn. The standard movie theaters just don't compare.

For a town this size, we are so fortunate to have the Lincoln. Exceptional and wide array of movies, plays and events. Just take in a movie to sit in the theater's historic ambiance. The popcorn is good too! The Lincoln is a local treasure.

From near current movies to local plays, to church programs this theatre is a lively part of downtown Mount Vernon. On movie nights the organ is played! And the popcorn is delicious!

I love the Lincoln Theatre! they have an organist play before the movies start and they get independent type movies there. They also have good live events. The concession stand has real butter for the popcorn as well as nutritional yeast which has become a...More

Have attended numerous shows at this remodeled Theater. Wow. Enjoy it all. The seating area is very comfortable and easy to access. The snack area does stop the people from entering the place and since it is such a great place to come to, the...More
