No question that I would do it again. I booked 3 days with Skagit River Guide Service in early-mid January in order to photograph the eagles. Wayne and his crew were superb, knowledgeable, and skillful in allowing us to drift closely to the eagles whether the were feeding or in the trees. The guides were very personable and helpful, entirely... More

We took this tour when the river was up and the current was fast. Our guide Scott went out of his way so we could get great pictures of the eagles and ended up seeing around 75 bald eagles. I swear we had a couple of eagles pose for us. We dressed warmly but the boats also had heaters in... More

Ok so I've seen eagles before on Indian lands in Alaska - probably more than this trip and we saw loads on this trip...it was cool though to float down the river counting them as we floated by. The boat was way more comfortable than I thought it would be, nicely padded seats and little heaters...The scenery was tremendous -... More

The Nooksack River tour was spectacular--there were eagles everywhere you looked--dozens together on trees, sand bars, flying, everywhere you looked, eagles! Cole was an excellent guide and very pleasant. And although I did miss the heaters from the boats at the Skagit River tour, the design of the cata-raft was so comfortable and functional, and the amount of eagles that... More

Spend a lovely morning on the river in the comfortable (and heated) boats of the Skagit River Guide Service if you'd like to see the magnificent eagles that come to the river in winter to feed. Scott was our guide - his knowledge and care for the environment and wildlife was shared generously and greatly appreciated. Highly recommended tour for... More

If you are looking to get out to see the eagles, give these guys a try,. We had Wayne as our guide and he was great. The river can be pretty fast moving and the jet boat tour does a nice job of allowing you to have multiple shots at the same bird, where as with a row only situation... More

For the best views of the eagles you must be on the river. You simply can't see the eagles the roads. Photographers need to be fairly close good to get good fill the frame shots. Wayne is the man if you want a fantastic worth every cent photography trip. His jet boat gets you up the river fast with his... More
