About
In 1985, RoozenGaarde was founded as a small showgarden and retail shop. With this addition Washington Bulb Co, Inc. was now able to reach out to the many individual flower enthusiasts and gardeners who wanted direct access to WBC’s great products. Flowers and floral arrangements are available every day of the year. The gift shop is also stocked with Tulip Festival merchandise, gardening tools and books, and unique gifts for the home and garden. The original showgarden has grown to over 3 ½ acres and is annually planted with over a ¼ million spring flowering bulbs. Included in this count are 85 different varieties of tulips, 25 varieties of daffodils, plus varieties of hyacinths, crocuses, and irises. Every flower is listed in our bulb catalog (and online!) which is available for visitors as they stroll through the garden. We encourage visitors and home gardeners alike to come check us out to simply enjoy the sights or see what ideas you can take back home for your own flower beds!

Must do in Washington in the Spring
My wife and I, along with our son who lives in Washington, toured the gardens during the local Tulip Festival. The colors were brilliant and amazing. They had large sections with rows of the same color contrasted with another section next to it. Created a brilliant landscape. Also, they had many different varieties of flowers interspersed around the landscape.

    2024 Roozengaarde Tulip farm
This is a must see tulip farm in the area of Mount Vernon, Washington. They have ample parking and gravel paths to the entrance, lines move fast to enter the grounds. This tulip farm is so well designed, acres of tulips everywhere you turn is a picture of beauty. They also sell fresh cut tulips to go and also refreshments and excellent fudge. Enjoy the joy of spring you love it.

    Tulip Lover's Dream
Beautiful gardens with amazing tulips. We were there on a rainy day, but there was still a crowd. Parking is free but there is a charge for admission. Well organized with several gift shops and several paths through a garden area.

    Go after the tulip festival
We are visiting the area from Pennsylvania. Our local friends were very tired of dealing with the tulip traffic; we were there after the height of tulip festival activities. We visited the garden on May 2, 2024 and admission was $10 per person due to many of the tulips being trimmed down already. There were still many blooms to see. This is a great place to take photos, enjoy sunshine, and get fresh fudge!

    Well worth the drive
We went on a Monday and avoided the weekend crowd, but still, there were plenty of people on this misty day. Reasonably good parking and all self-guided strolls through the fields of tulips and displays. More varieties than can be imagined. We understand that the displays and layout change annually -- true?

Very expensive for a family to enter, $89.00. When we go to Sequim Lavendar Festival there is no fee to enter the farms. This is ridiculous.

The tulips fields were beautiful. We went in the late afternoon and missed most of the traffic. The last weekend in April was the height of blooms this year due to a late spring. I can't imagine how crowded the fields would be with full parking lots.

It’s truly magical. Tulips and daffodils as far as you can see. Totally worth seeing. Make sure to visit in April when they are in full bloom. It can be a little dusty walking on the paths, so I would recommend sneakers.

Skagit Valley is absolutely gorgeous, and this huge garden was beyond spectacular with amazing spring flowers. When we went in mid April, only about half the flowers were in bloom because of unexpectedly cold weather. But that certainly didn't stop us from thoroughly enjoying our time here.
