Underfunded, but interesting and the animals are well loved.

The visit was great and got to see all the animals. I hate to see the cages, but understand that this is a refuge for unwanted animals and that they take great care of them. They had a bear, bobcats and coyotes and a wolf...More

Visited with my daughters, age 22 (zoo aficionado), 19, and 14. Yes, it's very small, the cages are small (larger for larger animals), and the vegetation inside the cages is sparse. This is located in a mountainous area, so I'm not sure what a well...More

My 21-year-old daughter loves animals, with one of her favorite things to do being visiting zoos, so this was her pick on our road trip. We were not impressed, and actually really surprised a place like this still exists. There are several animals; tigers, bears,...More

Took my grand-daughter and we had a blast looking at all the different "cats". The park is well taken care of and you can tell the cats want for nothing. They are spoiled and lazy. :)

This facility was very disappointing! It wasn't maintained.... it was a mess. Weeds and garbage all over. I felt like we were at a humane society for big cats. They are kept in tiny little fenced in areas...tiny, without any grass or greenery. It's just...More

Myself and two of my fellow kiwis were taken to this place with our American friend. We all felt deeply saddened by the treatment of these big cats. There were far too many of them and they were all kept in tiny enclosures. Some of...More

We went on a snowy day and had the entire place to ourselves. Staff was well educated and quite helpful. For an extra $10 you can safely feed lions, tiger, and bears. Where else are you going to be able to say you fed a...More

We were 50/50 on this place. At first we were excited to have something like this place to visit - but the more time we walked around the more we were torn whether it was a good thing or not. The staff were very dedicated...More

I have lived in Spokane since 1993 and had never been to Cat Tales. I was horrified. Those poor big cats pacing in small enclosures. I felt nothing but pity and couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

I’ve visited here every time I’ve been in Spokane and it’s my favorite place to visit. It is a small “roadside” zoo/retirement home for many large beautiful cats; predominantly tigers. The staff are always so happy to stop and visit and talk about the cats...More

As far as I know they are open 7 days a week. The best thing to do would be to call and find out hours of operation. 509-238-4126
