Displaying over 7000 nutcrackers, the Nutcracker Museum is a unique experience for visitors. People have come from all over the world specifically to view this unique collection. You’ll find nutcrackers from Roman times to modern day and nutting stones from the Archaic period. Students will enjoy a “nutcracker hunt”, our version of a scavenger hunt!

Anyone that knows me, knows I love nutcrackers. I was completely overwhelmed by how many this place has! It was amazing! They didn’t just have the decorative ones you see at Christmas but medal ones. It was all so organized. They even had a nutcracker...More

The Nutcracker museum which is more of an organizer collection on display is very unique and interesting to visit. Modest price to enter $12 for adults and unsure of price for children (sorry). It is actually located on the second floor above a nutcracker shop....More

We enjoyed seeing all the different styles and variations of nutcrackers but found the admission price to be a little high, given the content.

$12 admission charge for 2 adults and 1 child...not so bad in my opinion. We spent probably 45 minutes there...you could spend more time..there is a video about the history of nutcrackers..but I did not watch it. I was too busy gawking at the thousands...More

Why not absorb and enjoy the Bavarian culture while in Levenworth....and the nutcracker museum seemed like a natural way to do it while walking the streets. BUT... I wasn't willing to pay an admission to walk through a "museum" that would take only minutes. We...More

My first issue - less a concern - is that this is not a museum. A museum is place that curates its materials and provides interpretation. Museums, in other words, teach us something new or re-frame our understanding of art, history, or the topic it...More

For the enjoyment of our visitors, most of the wooden toy soldiers displayed in the Leavenworth Nutcracker Museum are grouped by special events, holidays, sports, or various festivals. Most of the antiques are labeled by origin and date. Two books published by the museum are...More

We went to the nutcracker museum because I have always liked nutcrackers and saw so many beautiful and amazing ones. I think this is great for young and old alike.
