Leavenworth is a place filled with amazing sites to see and exciting activities to explore. If you love to ski or be surrounded with white fluffy snow, Leavenworth is the place for you. In Leavenworth you can eat all kinds of foods that are related to the German culture. There is a restaurant called “Munchen Haus”, they have very good... More

Nice hiking in summer but especially great for cross country skiing in Winter. Short drive West of town.

we saw The Sound of Music , and it was over the top. Awesome. Best venue ever. The weather can be cool at night, so take a sweater, and take a pillow to sit on the seats are hard. Get your tickets early, it is a sell out . The cast and crew do a fantastic job. Must see. Must... More

It was mind-blowing to see so many nutcrackers in one spot! I had no idea there are so many kinds of them, and admired masters' creativity for almost an hour. Nutcrackers are: holiday-themed - Thanksgiving, St. Patty's day, Valentine's day, President's day, Mother's day, Christmas, of course! There are bikers, rock-n-roll musicians, politicians, Disney characters, Easter bunnies, Star Wars characters... More

This is a great place for a first time skiier. The tow rope is a bit of a challenge, but once we figure out we could go up with him on the tow rope we were skiing in no time!

$18.00 for 90 minutes, and long lines. I had just been to Snoqualmie, so...there are around 20 runs there. The lady at the ticket booth was friendly, but the teens working there looked very young. I am surprised there are not more restrictions on teens running rope tows?

Great place to teach kids to ski. Not overwhelming. Parking was easy & close. Nice lodge with cozy fire.

Not that one expects anything else these days for fun in the snow in the Northwest but it's pricey for 90 minutes. We went tubing on a weekend getaway. Weather was great and the tubing was fun. Line was too long and of course with just one tubing run it gets repetitive.

My husband and I came to this little town so I may learn how to ski for the very first time. The woman who served as was wonderful, and delightful. Since this was my first time ever ski and I wasn't going anywhere near the hills, they let us play on the bunny hill for no charge. My husband tried... More
