The center of most festivals in town. Wonderful slope for family sledding, a gazebo, and public restrooms all in the heart of the village.

We love staying in the heart of Leavenworth, and are visiting this weekend for the Ice Fest, and brought a brand new sled for the occasion. Fortunately, it started snowing last night, so the sledding hill is in excellent shape -- kids of all ages...More

Downtown Leavenworth is totally unique! it's easy to walk, shop, eat, people watch, enjoy performances at the gazebo, watch children laugh as they glide down the hill on their sleds then tumble off at the bottom and in general, feel relaxed and truly on vacation!

Center of Fun and lights! Location has a small hill for sledding. Generally, the area gets enough snow to keep it fun for all! Depending on weather the hills quickly turn to ice, so beware.

Front street is a small and quant shopping area with a variety of stores to walk in and out of. There's a store for every type.

Beautiful lighting on all the trees, a pavilion in the center with heat lamps should you need to thaw out. The view of the Bavarian Loge behind is breathtaking. Catch a horse drawn carriage for a ride through the town. Watch out for the kids...More

I am very sorry to say, that our family has only been there during the summer months on our visits. I would suggest contacting the local chamber of commerce, or calling a local hotel and asking them your question.
