River rafting or tube floating on the river are both enjoyable in Leavenworth. This is a good take out spot and you can picnic here.

In town for a conference, and we stumbled upon this lovely little park as we were exploring the town late one afternoon. It was March, off-season, and just a little too chilly to sit on the benches to watch the river go by, but I...More

Nice experience floating down river, especially in the hot August month. Or rent a bike and ride through town. It's beautiful in the morning.

If it's your first time in Leavenworth, I'd recommend to not miss this park for other hikes around the area. Very family friendly. Plan for hiking or snow boots especially in the winter

We were visiting Leavenworth in November and decided to take a stroll in Waterfront Park. Much of it was flooded but the parts that weren't were really fun to walk around. Beautiful views and some good bird watching. Recommend!

We had such a nice time walking the wooded trails along the river in the snow! We’ve been here in summer too and it is just as enchanting! Great escape from the crowds and shopping!

Not sure what tree you are asking about, but the holiday lights in Leavenworth burn brightly from the lighting festival in November until well into January.

For sure there is no Ice skating on any lake or river Near Leavenworth or Wentchee or Lake chelan. It's cold but not that cold and the lakes are to big to freeze.

Yes...When we visited we saw several dogs being walked in the park. One dog was having a great time playing fetch the stick in the water.
