I was born and raised in Bellevue when Bell Square was separate buildings. I went to Sammamish High School and it just seemed natural for us to hang out at LSSP since it had the same name as our school, right? So many good times and good memories. We were always safe and would even explore the marshlands behind the... More

This lake is beautiful on a nice day and it's a fun place to visit for a park afternoon. I lived here all my life, so it's a nice place to drop into. I don't know that I'd make it an all day thing but I love it here.

Wonderful park for families. Although they need to manage the canadian geese waste during the off-season.

We just went to the new playground, that apparently cost more than 1 million dollars. What a incredible disappointment! It's very large, but the playground equipment is suitable only for 5 and under. Older kids would be bored in a few minutes. The swings are extremely short, the zipline has no zip at all - my kids were so low... More

Each time I visit my inlaws in Issaquah I try to get to Lake Sammamish. I think it's a fantastic place to relax and of course my grand kids loved it. They loved the kayaking in particular. Great for families but a wonderful place for couples or if you are on your own and want to chill out!

Raced our limited hydros on the lake. Did a 360 that ended my racing career. From then on just watched.

Loved the new playground, great for kids of all different ages. I understand that in summer it will turn into a water park. You need a parks pass or can buy one on the day.

This park has always been a favorite but they just opened a brand new playground here that is absolutely amazing, one of a kind for sure!
