We didn’t arrive at the light house until dusk so we got to watch the sun go down. And then the lighthouse light turned on. Sitting there was cold due to the ocean breeze. Park was a small fee.

It's just a short walk to the lighthouse for an incredible view. This time of year it's pretty cold and the wind was crazy so dress warm. Unfortunately you can't go inside the lighthouse at this time, but it's still well worth the visit.

Under construction and is fenced in but you can still walk up there and get great pictures and views you can park close by or walk 1.8 miles down and back to get a great work out in.

It was not open last year for construction work, the Washington State Parks website will give you up to date info for the season from May to September/October for this years opening times. You can always walk around it, the... More

The keepers' house on the light house grounds is available to rent by the night. You can contact the Washington State Parks department to reserve. I believe the fees are between $250 to $400 per night. It is a beautiful... More
