Only giving three dots because the light house cannot be reached due to construction, but you can get pretty close. The hike itself and views are still worth it thought. The only thing is the informational signs along the way are beginning to get very...More

Very easy walk to the lighthouse, but unfortunately it is currently under restoration and covered with scaffolding. The views of the coast are well worth the hike. Light keepers houses near the start of the trail, now vacation rentals, are well preserved, but not open...More

I love lighthouses. They were cleaning the outside of the lighthouse when we visited in April 2017. That to us just meant how much they care for these places.

We've visited this lighthouse a few times and it never gets old. Photo taking is amazing in sun and during storms. Nice little history lesson inside. My brother also chose this location for a small family wedding.

Absolutely gorgeous, plenty of parking, and a short fort walk in a gravel road. Currently closed for tours due to renovation but still able to enjoy the outside and the views are amazing. A must see!

What a beautiful walk and gorgeous views! Lighthouse is under reconstruction, so couldn't get close, but it was a great stop!

Been a long time since I last visited. Much more people travel and now a paved trail to the lighthouse. Still one of my favorite lighthouse views. Just in the middle of a paint job right now. Still a day at a lighthouse is a...More

There are no accommodations at the North Head Lighthouse. Never have been. Boreas Bed & Breakfast Inn 10 minutes away, however! My B&B! See our Trip Advisor listing!
